What this site does

Word Search Studios offers word-search puzzles and a puzzle maker. Puzzle generation and word selection run in your browser; the words you enter are not intentionally sent to our server by the puzzle maker.

Hosting and technical data

Our site is hosted by Netlify. Hosting infrastructure may process technical information such as IP address, request details, device/browser data, and security logs to deliver and protect the site. Refer to Netlify's privacy information for details.

Contact messages

If you submit our contact form, we receive the name, email address and message you provide through Netlify Forms. We use these details to respond to your inquiry. Avoid sharing sensitive personal data. We do not sell contact submissions.

Cookies and advertising

We have applied for Google AdSense and have added an account ownership verification meta tag. At the time of this update, we have not activated AdSense advertising scripts or third-party analytics scripts. Hosting and security services may use necessary technical storage.

If advertising is activated in the future, Google and its advertising partners may use cookies, web beacons, IP addresses and similar technologies to deliver, measure and, where permitted, personalize advertisements. Third-party vendors, including Google, may use cookies to serve ads based on visits to this and other websites, subject to applicable laws and user choices. We will update this notice and implement applicable consent choices before enabling such advertising.

Children's privacy

Word Search Studios offers puzzles for a broad audience, including adults, parents, educators and families. Some activities may appeal to children. We do not require accounts and do not intentionally ask children to submit personal information to play puzzles. Children should ask a parent or guardian before sending a contact message and should not submit personal information through the contact form without their permission.

We will assess any child-directed sections and applicable children's privacy and advertising requirements before displaying ads there. We do not currently enable personalized ads on this site.

International privacy and consent

Before activating advertising for visitors in locations requiring consent or additional privacy choices, we will configure appropriate consent and privacy controls. We do not currently display an advertising consent banner because AdSense ads have not been enabled.
