How to use these puzzles
Before class, open a theme, review the words, and remove any terms that do not fit your learners. Select a grid size, generate the puzzle, and print a copy for each student. Print the answer key separately for checking.
Try this activity
Pair students and ask each pair to define three found words. For a science lesson, sort ocean animals by habitat or group insects by shared traits. These are supplemental activities, not standards-aligned lesson plans.

Can I change the puzzle difficulty?
You can change the grid size and edit the word list. Longer word lists and larger grids can be more challenging, but difficulty varies by puzzle.
